Welcome to the American Family Campground (AFC) Website, friends. Allow me to introduce myself - you may call me George. I am one of your guides on this tour of the fine facilities, excellent amenities, comfortable accommodations, easy access to local and regional attractions, and so much more!
Joining me in this tour are my good friends Abraham and Betsy. We hope our presentation will lead you to choose AFC for your family's New York Campground camping getaway.

 Set along the wooded shores of the pristine Neversink River, AFC is nestled between the majestic Catskill and Pocono Mountains. Treat your family to the finest in surroundings, camping activities and a location that is both secluded and close to regional travel routes. Each year, Betsy, Abraham and myself "Cross the Neversink" in my rowboat to join camping families like you in the campground's fun and relaxing atmosphere. The splendor of the trees and the freshness in the air make this a campground that's sure to invigorate your body, mind and soul. If, like my good friend Abraham, you enjoy the rod and reel, you will delight in the excellent fishing in the state-stocked river and onsite stream & pond. Those drawn to the water will want to rent a paddleboat for our stream or try an innertube for a relaxing float down the river.
 Enjoy resort-quality facilities at AFC Campground. For those that prefer calm currents and mild temperatures, the campground offers a heated pool that is open for the entire camping season and is enclosed during the colder months. Golfers of all ages and experience will enjoy miniature golf and the New Driving Range, which features wide open driving spaces and flags set out to 300 yards. Balls and clubs are available for rent at the Camp Store. Other outdoor diversions include games of softball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tetherball and horseshoes.
Pedal your way around the park in rental bicycles, FunCycles and Excites with seating for 2, 4 or 6 riders! For an easy way to get around, there is even a new Locomotive with Caboose that will transport you around the resort.
While the young ones are exercising their imaginations and bodies at the playground or in the splendor of the resort's fields and woods, the Adult Lounge offers you the chance to enjoy a little indoor recreation with shuffleboard, a color TV, pool table and ping pong. The spacious Recreation Hall is a wonderful gathering place for many of the campground's organized events and entertainment. Satisfy your hunger at the full service Snack Bar, which serves soft serve ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs and other tasty treats. Ice, firewood, propane and other camping necessities may be purchased at the Camp Store.
